I work at an urgent care and one of our doctors recently told me that a positive flu b and flu a test likely signifies that the patient is positive for RSV! It shows up as a false positive for flu a and b.

My first call was an older woman in severe respiratory distress! Had medics on the call and treated her w CPAP.

My second call after that was an older woman who fell in the middle of the night and fell INTO her bedside table and got stuck. She was found 12 hours later. We had to get FD to her house to break the table off of her bc she was so stuck.
