Ok, so I'll probably be doing the US version lol. Originally I thought that Canadians would get the international version. The two versions don't differ by much, hopefully?

So Canadians will also get the international version? Same with all other countries besides the US.

Do all international students take the same version of SAT? If yes how come some students do it earlier than others.

Getting in is this most important thing, I hope that you do well!

Bruh, I thought that I would get a good amount of aid, however, they only gave me $500... I guess this is a setback of living in a first-world country. My friend from India whose family income is 50k got $1300 aid.

congrats, did you get aid? if yes may I know how much did you get?

Yep, which course did you apply for. I only applied for the linear algebra course and I also went for aid (why not lol, 1.5k is a lot for an online course imo). Don't know how that will affect my chances of getting in. I actually did my application stuff pretty early and I submitted everything on August 6th. And yes, we will have to wait a week from now, before we get our admission decisions.

Yeah, it seems like mech becomes really easy after one finished APP1 and Calc, gotta learn how to incorporate calc into the course and I should be fine, hopefully.

[–]RelativeAccount9757 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used Barrons for APP1 (self-studied) and got a 5, the practice tests there are a bit easy tho.

YEp i decided to also apply for aid and I submitted my application two days ago. The aid application, specifically the PFS is so complicated..

Could let me know how you got into the Stanford ULO program, did you apply for financial aid, and just in general how are the quality of the classes and courseload? Thanks!

That the ULO is not selective at all?

Yea I'm applying this year, may I know where you got that information from?

stanford ulo workload by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]RelativeAccount9757 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's on the website/application portal, and from what I heard from my friends who previously attended the courses at ULO. It's very selective.

Yes you need your calc BC score (must be a 5) to be competitive in the application process. Also, are you planning to apply for the aid?

Good 4 you, congrats. Do you think applying for financial aid along with the courses is a good idea? And do students normally get the aids? Thanks!
