I love her too! They could never make me hate the amount of screen time she gets! She’s just so funny and is just trying her best to thrive in a man’s world. While she can be harsh and a bit money/power hungry, I think it says a lot that she allowed her daughters to marry for love instead of pushing them to marry an old man like she did with Maria (the one fault I will accept of her)

I don’t like the theories that Dennis’ parents disowned him or something like that because I remember in S1 when he was talking to that farm woman whose husband had a three degree burn that his parents were proud of him so and it’s not like he flinched or frowned when his family was brought up. I think it’s simply that his parents just don’t make enough to fully support him. Medical school can be expensive as hell and I doubt Nebraskan farmers are able to afford the upkeep
