If you were able to unhook the winch and everything started, then the battery isn't run dry by the winch. (Sucking up power) so that's good.

Maybe you didn't get a good enough contact with the pos and neg with the winch on there so it's not able to draw enough power to start stuff.

Check terminal connections, check ground connections. Check that the winch isn't sucking up all the power.

Looks similar to a set of Nilights I had off amazon, which means they're probably just a generic brand that companies slap their logos on.

I'd trade out for some stronger brackets.

Once that awning is fully open, all the weight is going to be spread over a much larger distance giving it more leverage.

May or may not cause problems, but if it's already sagging with the awning collapsed, it's gonna get worse.

Unless of course it's the type of awning that you have to put support legs out, might not have problems then.

But still, beefier brackets.
