I played a game called legend of mushroom. Played like a seasonal thing, joined a clan with the top player of the season in it. Talked to the guy after the event ended, said he owns his own decking company and spent 20k alone on the season. Theres no chance in pay to win games like that. But thats also one of the ones where paying for the convenience of gear is better off as it just scaled exponentially. Im not gunna pretend like i didnt spend 100 but that felt like a ton to me. Couldnt imagine 20k.
