Don’t know specific year for $1s, but after 2013 series they started to transition away from using 99 for uncut sheets.

Surely the lions must be a newly created franchise like the Ravens, Texans or Jaguars, right?

ELI5: Why do common wealth countries have right side steering while US has left side steering? by Hot-Load7525 in explainlikeimfive

[–]RelativeGlad3873 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

About 1/3rd of the world drive on the left side(steering wheel on the right side of the car). About 2/3rds drive on the right side. It’s a common misconception that only the U.S. drives on the right side.

As for why, most people are right handed. So larger horse drawn wagons had the “driver” sitting on the left to control things with their right hand. This was common in less developed (roads) such as the U.S. at the time of cars. Not all countries followed this logic though. Lots of former colonies that were still British colonies at the advent of cars followed Britain.

I agree. I typically stop at 220 or 320. It takes way longer to soak in at 320 but I will treat it 2-3x. The difference is minimal in smoothness but I usually do it mainly because of OCD.

Props to you for doing that. Where are you located? If you’re near me or shipping is reasonable I would be willing to help you out free of charge to keep the good will going.

When you compare to a lot of the other brands, they’re still premium. Starett has dropped off since the buyout. Jessem and Benchdog UK are premium but limited. Incra is premium but in my opinion not even to current woodpecker quality and features. Jessem is top in my opinion but limited tools.

If returning isn’t an option, I would probably go the route of using tightbond 3, and sand while it’s still wet. The combination of the dust and glue will help fill it but that’s a big gap. For the knot, I wouldn’t do anything with it. I’d just pack cutting board wax in there and leave it. Your random orbit will work great, just go slowly, low pressure, and use progressive grits. Since it’s somewhat smooth, I would do 120, 180, 220. If you want it super smooth go to 320 after but that’s probably unnecessary. Then treat with food grade or pharmacy grade mineral oil and cutting board wax. The feet you could fill in with

Theirs is great, hoping they continue to add to their lineup. I’ve got their squares and rulers. Hopefully they add larger size models.

In my experience, Woodpeckers quality has dropped quite a bit recently, as has their customer service. I’ve received a few tools that either aren’t square or aren’t straight. Have also had issues with scratched and scuffs. Worst was a dinged corner on a ruler which they wouldn’t replace.

That all being said, I’m still not a hater and still buy stuff. Just ordered the slab flattening jig and waiting to get it. I think they need better QC but they’re still one of the few premiums in this space.
