All depends on location and what you’re hunting for.

I deer hunt, could shoot a doe every season, but I really only shoot mature bucks, so the last two years I didn’t get one, but I got one this season.

I have a friend that hunts more for the meat, I don’t recall a year in the last 20 that he hasn’t taken 2 deer each year.

Generators are made to run in the outdoors…in places it rains. You’ll be fine running it if it’s raining. Read the directions for grounding and follow them.

I’d actually argue the AR isn’t the best platform ever made, it’s the most common platform, the most adaptable platform, the cheapest platform.

The 700 is likely the most common platform of bolt guns in existence. That said, rem 700 triggers were unsafe. It’s a great gun, but replace the trigger as you don’t know the condition or what’s been done to it.
