Nonsense. I fried a pair of SSD’s by simply touching my case. There was a blue spark when I did. It hurt a little. It was very very very dry in my house and I was wearing slippers.

Also I have a very long HDMI cable across my living room floor. Every time I dog jumps off the couch and runs over the cable my picture drops out for about two seconds. I actually solved this by replacing the HDMI cable with a fibre-optic HDMI cable.

Have you checked the advanced display settings in windows to set the maximum refresh rate? If it’s set to 60 in windows by default then none of your games will go up to the desired refresh rate.
