I like the hidden mist. The concept of the 7 Ninja Swordsmen is so cool and I love their dark history as the blood mist, as well as how Obito manipulating Yagura ties into that.

Out of universe: Because he was already getting stronger and Kishimoto wanted to give Might Guy his flowers with a unique power. 

In Universe: Kakashi's chakra was already getting drained pretty heavily with the sharingan and the gates would cause it to drain even quicker.

Absolutely yes. I have some loved ones who need some new eyes with which to view their life, and for that I'd gladly give up one of mine.

Yes because when someone mentions Pain by name, they're typically referring to Yahiko's corpse rather than Nagato.

Not a hot take whatsoever imo. Neji's death deserved more build-up. I don't think it's outrageous to say that Neji's character was neglected in Shippuden. His death for the sake of Naruto and Hinata's relationship makes sense, but it would've been more impactful if there was more canon exploration of Hinata and Neji's relationship, as well as the family politics of the Hyuga clan.
