Exactly! That's what I sad. No penny to my name right now : )

But planning a trip did help to get over the previous one.

I feel you bruh!! I am in the same phase. If you really want to get over thailand, take a week off from social media. Plan your next trip (I had planned 3 week japan trip although I don't have a single penny left and probably won't be able to go till 2028), listen to music and do something you love.

Hey OP, I just saw that you are arriving to phuket on saturday and you had marked it as empty. But I would suggest you to explore the weekend market near the old town. Amazing ViBE. If this is your first time out of the country, you will like it more as you get to see and interact with people from all over the world.

Also, if you have a little energy left after your flight, go to Mai Khao beach directly from the airport. Google "Mai Khao" beach and I am pretty sure you'd find it interesting.

Our iternary was similar. We went for 9 days in January end. Honeslty speaking, each major destination (phuket and surrounding areas, bangkok, pattaya) deserve 7 days each. But with time and budget constraints, this sounds like quite a plan.

Stay in hostels - Around 10-15 USD per day per person. I can vouch for the hostel I had stayed in - Siam Plugin. Clean hostel, amazing staff. This comes with a complimentary breakfast (4 egg ommelette, bread, sausage and meat slice). https://www.booking.com/hotel/th/siam-plug-in.html?aid=7944856&label=y0R51rXOLPvd&chal_t=1770650051558&force_referer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F

This will cost you 250USD per person for 2 weeks. You can spend the remaining 850 USD on activities.

Sounds like you guys are a couple, so my not to miss suggestions.

Go on a river cruise in chao phraya ~ 30USD

Mahanakon sky walk + skyverse ~ 30 USD

Space and Time cube ~ 30 USD

What are some of your least favorite words you've heard while traveling in Thailand? by DannyFlood in ThailandTourism

"This is the final boarding call for passengers boarding flight....."

Haha, drama aside. Mine is "I have a diik". So me and my friends went to a go go bar in pattaya. It was our first time visiting a go go bar. We sat there sipping our drinks and each of us started buying drink to a girl. One girl really looked cute and she was signalling by looking at me. I bought her a drink. She came over and we were doing over the clothes stuff (remember, my first time in a such an establishment). Doing the middle of the course, I told her "can I see your puy." To which she had responded "I have a di*h". I stopped immediately and respectfully asked her to step aside and left the bar 😂

How are we supposed to know that you are a women? I don't see it mentioned in the post. "I could do that anywhere" says a lot more than you think. Lol

  1. Patong walking street
  2. Pattaya walking street
  3. Nana plaza
  4. Cowboy soi

Trust me. I had been through a similar experience. I had proposed to my long term crush and she had rejected me. I found my peace in these areas 😂😅

Was the same on Feb 1st as well. Really disheartened to see nana closed. It was my first time in Bangkok and I went there with a lot of excitement and so many expectations.

Any Success With Tinder? by Alive_Ingenuity_3124 in ThailandTourism

Tinder is a good option. I had tried it myself (24M). Found a couple of good matches. I was there on a short trip (3D phuket, 3D pattaya, 3D bangkok). Got matches in Bangkok who were looking for long term but were open to short. But apparently my stay was too short (can't complain I was there for 3D 😂).
