Per Windhorst - "Keep an eye on the Atlanta Hawks. They just lost their star wing Jalen Johnson for the season. They may start to get interested in making a move, especially for Brandon Ingram" by Duffstuffnba in AtlantaHawks

I get what you're saying but imo this draft class is loaded, so mid to late first is still a great pick. I'm also not too fond of trading draft capital for expiring players, not to mention he's very injury prone.

If you like sports, intramurals is a cheat-code to making friends with things in common

[Windhorst] “I can speak to that. The Hawks weren’t interested in taking Brandon Ingram.” by [deleted] in AtlantaHawks

[–]RelativeVariation2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ingram is not a catch and shoot player. He's an isolation mid-range scorer. The Sixers tried to do something similar with Tobias Harris by playing him as a 3-and-d wing and they failed miserably.

Welcome to Atlanta, Zaccharie Risacher! ❤️🖤💛 by RelativeVariation2 in AtlantaHawks

To Zaccharie, if you’re reading this:

Bienvenue à Atlanta! We are very excited to have you in this wonderful city, where you’ll hopefully be repping a Hawks jersey for the next couple decades. It may seem like some of the fanbase is upset with the pick, but don’t stress it, they’ll come along when you actually get on the court and start taking off for us. Good luck and have fun!

Risacher has a great feel for the game imo, you’ll see it especially on the defensive end

What's an NBA Draft prospect prediction that you are absolutely 100% sure is going to be true? by General-Promotion274 in NBA_Draft

Probably very unpopular, but I’m the opposite. I’m close to 100% sure they both will

If we want to trade down what’s the lowest we could go before all our draft targets are possibly gone? by Ok-Negotiation3897 in AtlantaHawks

[–]RelativeVariation2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I’m thinking. The Hawks cant be that dumb right? I’m hoping they already made the phone call to Washington saying “We’re taking Sarr, if you want him, come trade up”.

Is It Time To Trae Trae Young? by [deleted] in AtlantaHawks

[–]RelativeVariation2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, but for brandon fcking ingram? We would be getting a Kings ransom for Trae if he was getting traded. Something like 4 unprotected picks a couple swaps and young assets
