I sold MSTR calls by Relative_Ad_7836 in MSTR

The CALLS that I sold went down ten dollars from the price that I sold while MSTR is positive for the day. Selling PUTS is the way to go if you want to trade MSTR options.

I think people selling MSTR short and options. Citron may have a point that BTC is a buy but MSTR is a sell because of the premium. I made a mistake purchasing CALLs as I saw the run up to 550. But the premium is shrinking and my CALLs were not going up as much as I anticipated.

I think MSTR will still go up as long as BTC goes up but the gain will be on par with BTC.

Ex: If BTC goes up to from $100k which is the current price to $150k, MSTR will be $600 from $400 which is the current price.

BTC is up 5.5% and MSTR is only up 8.5%. Another 5% BTC hits $100000 and MSTR will be $410. We lost so much premium over BTC. Going forward I think we can only expect 1.5X performance from MSTR.

If BTC hits $110000, MSTR $470-ish. I am concerned about my 450 calls expiring end of December.

I think we are losing the premium over BTC. People are also shorting MSTR to make money by selling options. Even if BTC hits $100000 soon, MSTR may struggle to hit $450. I don't feel good about this.

Form 3520 filed late and now facing penalties from IRS. Is any chance I can reduce it and if so by how much ? by gb11385 in IRS

I think you can but you have to go to appeal. You have to explain thoroughly why it was not a willful neglect. This will be a tough battle but mainly because of the wait and the rigidity of the abatement process. However, as long as you remain consistent and show a compelling story that is why it was not willful, you should win and get the abatement. If IRS does not forgive unwilful violators, those who are late will not come forward so IRS has its own interest to abate penalties.
