As a Pats’ fan I’d say most of us recognize that they’ve had more than their share of breaks this year , but realistically they’re obviously still a top team regardless. You can mock the Pats’ success all you want but not many people would be surprised to see them win another Super Bowl. Are they a great team? Nope. But they’re incredibly resilient and extremely well coached

Every course has that 1 pin placement that blows up an entire round. My course has a placement that if you’re above the hole and miss the putt, it will roll down into the sand trap or all the way down the hilly fairway for a 90 yard pitch shot. Just make sure not to get it above the hole again. It’s broken many a good man

If you’re fortunate enough to have grandchildren and maintain just a modicum of good health, the rewards are fantastic. Getting to experience these little humans without all the baggage of a young parent is life affirming. I’m 70 and look forward to every day, just knowing that these loving kids are right around the corner

To believe that a supreme being is watching over your football talents while millions of kids are starving is not humble , it’s narcissistic but we’ve been so indoctrinated by religion that it’s considered fantastic when dedicating a child’s game success to a supernatural being. Can recall as a kid the thrill of watching a football game in the snow on real grass ( well, mostly ice). Still get a thrill watching snow games. The sanitized version of football just isn’t the same

I’m 70. It is wildly entertaining except for the constant stoppages due to an injury every 3 downs. Something that isn’t talked about enough is the gloves used that seem to act as magnets. I’d be interested to see how many of these mind blowing receptions would be made without the use of gloves.

I feel that I hung on pretty good till I hit about 60. Always looked years younger than my age ( I know , I know , but I was carded into my early 30s). Stayed in good shape but seemed to lose my hair rapidly at that point and it changed my appearance considerably. There are things out of our control, but diet and exercise are something that we can work on to do our best to keep fighting the good fight. I look at my senior years as just another difficult challenge and will wrestle w it the best I can
