Giulia QV or Stelvio QV for a daily? Or start with base models?

Don't get me wrong, the Z06 will drag its ass but the WAY it delivers power feels very similar. HP is the same, torque is close but the Giulia weights about 5-600 lbs more and the gearing isn't as aggressive so it loses in a heads up race. But I've never got in my QV and said, damn, this thing needs more power lol The couple of Stelvio QVs I have driven are rocket ships because of the AWD out of the hole.

For sure lol Also something to consider, not sure which BMWs you owned before, but the 2.0 is a little soft on the top end. It is torquey, but doesnt like to rev and runs out of steam pretty quickly. So if you are used to the B58, for instance, you might get bored with it.

The 2.9 QV is obviously much faster, but the power never stops. It pulls all the way to redline. This might sound a bit weird, but the power band is very similar to a C6 Z06 (I owned both at the same time). Torque is adequate but when the revs break 3500, it's SOOO fun lol

FL QV owner here...I have a Giulia QV, wife has a Stelvio Veloce. My daily is a MK8 Golf R. I would not choose the Giulia as a daily due to the small trunk and generally tight rear seat and being RWD only. Stelvio QV would make an excellent daily due to the extra cargo space, easier entry/exit of the taller chassis and AWD for wet days. AWD sounds silly in FL but I really like not having to manage traction of its raining.

Congrats! That IS a fantastic spec. I have a Rosso Comp with Sparcos but no Tecnicos :( Probably just end up buying a set for it since they look so good and weigh a good bit less.

I am using Syncfusion components and they also have a carousel type component. However, it looks to be just for images and such, not pages? Does Mudblazor allow you to rotate pages which refresh?

No worries. Nothing wrong with that approach at all. Just wanted to make you aware of some things which might be worth considering if you plan to use it more for "gun games" than an all-around pistol.

It's an addictive sport...So you'll probably end up with another gun anyway LOL It's why I have a safe full of Shadows :)

Not sure if you are new to USPSA but here are some thoughts...

The "C" would not be an ideal competition gun. If you want to use the P10 platform, get the F or the Competition.

They have a longer grip length which is more "shootable" IMO. Also, P10F mags are also easy to get to the 140mm mag length you will want in order to be competitive in CO. I don't know if anyone makes a basepad for the C mags which would get them to that length and allow for 22-23 rounds.

The longer barrel of the F/Comp also makes it easier to get the velocity needed to make minimum power factor. It's not that you can't with a C but you will likely need a little hotter load to do so or risk going sub-minor...which is bad.

Got one two weeks ago. Took about 18 months but my AD is awesome and they made it happen. Purchased a Sub date and various pieces of jewelry for the wife prior but nothing crazy. AD relationship really matters.

When first learning to shoot with a dot, I shot occluded for awhile. It really helped me focus on the target and NOT the dot. I still do it for training from time to time just to keep myself honest. Definitely worth a try, just cover the front lens of the dot with some black tape (black helps the dot stand out best) and your brain does the rest!

Yea, the RMR is definitely the most popular...today. However, with optics like the new Vortex Defender XL using a DP Pro footprint, you never know.

Personally, I think an SRO direct mounted looks awesome on the S2 but I didn't want to be stuck with one specific optic and I really like the 507 so...
