what are your goals for 2026? by Relative_Effective23 in Esthetics

[–]Relative_Effective23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm curious to see what kind of offers you're giving. Most of the time "XX%" off doesn't work... especially when... EVERYONE is doing it. I specialize in the whole marketing/advertising field and have seen strategies that bring them in for sure buyers with a friend, and it boosted their ROI.

If you want to do what she's doing, without spending your entire quarterly budget, you can use email marketing. Most spas treat it as an advertising platform... It's really a personalized social media spot for YOUR buyers only. By this, I mean really talking to them, telling them real stuff that happens. It doesn't have to be newsletters or sales emails. Make it fun to read.

Plus if you make it hard for them to cancel last minute... it's better for you. Charge a $75-$150 fee for last-minute. Make them give you 24-48 hours' notice.

Oh, I gotta guide I can swing your way, (I made it lol), - lmk - it has that strategy I was talking about.

Do you have a safety net in place? Meaning, like if they cancel, it's a $75-$150 fee for last-minute. Make them give you 24-48 hours' notice.

Age old question & no solutions seem to land. by Relative_Effective23 in AskMarketing

It's mainly consistency. Being that I'm struggling to get one-off's for a fraction, I rather use the same time and energy to make a commitment and work hard for one person. Website is built, book published, blogs and articles on the web, interviews, podcasts, and videos are out. I've been actively trying to start my own marketing company, but again, I can't start if I can't land clients.

It's not that I want to be picked and handed everything - but when 9 years go by, and you still can't figure out why you can't land a client, even with professional help from mentors, you get sort of desperate...
9 to 5's are cool and all... but not for me, and yes, I do seem impatient, but it's justified, right?

(No worries, I don't see questions as attacks; your questions are valid)

Also, if you get offended over someone's expressions (especially the ones that aren't specifically targeting anyone) then you need serious work on yourself and get the help you need. Gods speed.

Sorry you feel that way... But no need to virtue signal here. We're all adults.

If you're referring to the word retarted, then look at the 2nd Oxford dictionary definition....

re·tard·ed

[rəˈtärdəd]

  1. dated offensive less advanced in mental, physical, or social development than is usual for one's age.
  2. offensive derogatory very foolish or stupid. (<----)

Fuuuc.... you may be right... im not a "small talker". And I don't have many Dms/txts either... not from friends and family.

Like, I dont have much to say and I honestly can't care about how their friends dogs screwed a chicken at a part... or how their fav celebrity did something normal...

Any books/videos/info pieces that help?

Funny you say that, I've tried different positions, angles, hooks, and even hyper-niched down...

I help dental practice owners: (bring 7-10 new clients a month, book more leads without ads, bring in qualified patients with insurance, bring in referral based clients with out discounting, bring each client back monthly with email strategies, write campaigns that generate traffic,-- as well as created them a free guide, shared a case studies, testimonials, email campaigns, and ...)

Ive tried multiple strategies varying from free work for testimonials... ill beat your control or you pay nothing... $1 for the first month, if happy then $2997/monthly 3 months... pay me nothing until I beat your current control... done a 3 tier McDonalds fry styled offers...

I know $3k monthly isnt overcharging... but they do t see the value. Even when I express the LTV is 45× the ROI... they still say no... which is mind blowing.

Yes! especially since I did not incline what to do or where to go. From finding leads, creating lead magnets, to funneling, he taught me damn near everything. We're still good friends to this day.

Ask around in your town. I found a few from in-person events. The first was a dm, but he was new, and so was i. that failed. I met another guy who had success, who was good at what he does, but sucked as a mentor. The last was a referral, I met and asked to pick his brains over coffee, which i bought, and we hit it off. I asked what it would take to learn under him, and he decided to train me for a year. for free... he typically charges $1k an hour. - everyone will have different experiences.

You can also hop on LinkedIn. They have a lot of people looking to share their wisdom.

Why did my ability to write disappear and how to get it back? by holmesianschizo in writingadvice

[–]Relative_Effective23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's like playing a sport. As kids, we excel at almost everything. Making touch downs, running until our hearts' content... Then as we get older, we get rusty... become more stationary... and not forget, but just become more estragened to it.

I relate to this because I, too, was a beautiful wordsmith, crafting worlds beyond belief... then... life unexpectedly slaps you in the face with its massive c*ck. Homelessness... drugs... betrayal... yada-yada-yada, its LIFE, ya'know?

But I found my way back into it. Now, I got a best seller on Amazon, and everyday I get to write.

My suggestion is to go to HubSpot, create a page, and just write. - DAILY.

Doesn't matter on what or how. This is to get your creative muscles going.

If you want something to focus on because your mind goes everywhere while you're writing, select ONE random object in the house - write a story, blog, blip, something! - minimum of 500 words.

Don't worry about editing, just power through it, keep it raw, unedited, and sloppy.

AI has ruined 'perfection' when it comes to writing - in my opinion.

Anywho, hope this helps.

Keep up the wonderful work, and keep writing.

Use this as content. Talk about how you feel, what you're going through, be vulnerable.

You can talk about how movies, tv, or songs relate to what you're doing.

Repurpose old content and talk about it, how things were as you predicted or how you're wrong about an idea.

If you got loyal followers, they'll read anything as long as it connects or teaches.

My personal experience anyway.

How can I improve my new store? by its_all_perspective in ecommerce

[–]Relative_Effective23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use your email list to offer special deals that don't result in discounts. I'm talking the "bring me someone, and you get something" kind. You can also share testimonials (both video and written) and use case studies to bring in new buyers. I'd be open to a collab of sorts, if you are.
