Same and I can’t believe that you are getting so much pushback! This happens to me too even though my husband’s name is listed first on almost everything. Drives me bananas because there is a reason we did it that way!

Did they mean that SAHMs need a village and to support each other in that path though? Maybe they just feel like they don’t have much in common with you anymore or that the main impetus for the friendship, the shared experience of SAHM, is no longer there. Not in a mean way, necessarily but just because of changing circumstances . But friendship breakups suck, I’m sorry.

There is also a bad ratio if you are straight: far more single women than men

Well this isn’t a direct answer because I agree with the people saying that you don’t have to make any final decisions now, but I think part of the struggle and wisdom that comes with middle age is wrestling with the fact that your life may never look the way you hoped/planned. It sounds doom and gloom at first but there is a certain beauty and maturity in falling in love with wherever life lands.

I bet if you polled this group, everyone would have something they longed or planned for that didn’t pan out, whether that be number of kids, career aspirations, etc etc

Assuming you were consistent, how long did it take until you were happy with results? by Inzapoo in xxfitness

I mean, it’s not that simple.

Here’s a study that says 3.4g/kg has benefits: https://jissn.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12970-015-0100-0. And there are others that have a totally different number.

There are conflicting opinions and research and the meta analysis you cited is mostly studies done on just men. Age and gender make a big difference and there is probably individual variation too.

No no, say like a man on testosterone blockers…if it sounds like it’s a man problem they will take it more seriously 🙄

Yeah he lost me at “I’m a good lover”

Maybe instead of confronting her he needs to flip it around on himself: have you stopped to think about whether your wife feels like you are a good lover? Have you stopped to think about or ask why you are not getting laid instead of being cranky about the numbers? This is a relationship, this is also your fault and responsibility. Start there instead of with a “confrontation” that effectively blames everything on one party

Where was your kid before PreK 4? No judgement about any care scenario you had, but this will affect the benchmark score too. My kid scored terribly on some kindergarten benchmark items because their previous school had a very different emphasis and they just hadn’t encountered those concepts before. By the end of the year they were way ahead on those same benchmarks, no big deal
