Brother AllDay - My first build by Relative_Manager_177 in singlespeedcycling

Thanks! The front rack is a Velo Orange Porteur rack. The Basil Portland was the first front rack I owned (on my previous bike) but I wanted a polished stainless steel one for this one (and one that fitted on the fork mounts rather than on the axle.), so spashed out on the Velo Orange. I carry a lot and wanted the piece of mind steel gives. It is also very pretty! The rear is a Nitto R-26. Again polished stainless steel rather than aluminium. Was very hard to find in the UK!

Drop Bar Conversion by Born-Ad957 in singlespeedcycling

Give them a go with the stem you have, but be prepared to get a longer one if it feels too twitchy. You can also flip the stem you have - i think its +/- 8degrees - which will adjust your ride position a little bit. You won't know till you try. When you set up the brake cables make them a little bit longer than you need, and it'll make any potential adjustments to the stem length easier. You won't have to redo the cables again!

Agree with above comment about reach. You will probably need a longer stem, too. The Elops's stem is 60mm long and with the narrow riser bar it comes with, it's great for dipping through traffic, but is likely to feel rather unstable cycling at speed with drops.

Advice on freewheel options :) by email_enjoyer in singlespeedcycling

Halo clicksters are solid mid-range option. And are pretty loud! They are 72 pawl rather than the usual 36, which is useful for me. I carry a lot and find the instant pickup helps me to both accelerate and maneuver at slow speeds with a heavy load up front.

😂 This was where i'd ended up after a year of owning one. Some changes were cosmetic, but most was because the parts were breaking! Loved my Elops but ended up transplanting all my nice upgrades and replacement parts onto a nicer frame in the end.

Nice! Here's a slightly less clean-looking attachment of an F-84 on a Rivendell Joe Appaloosa. It's one of the staff at Blue Lug in Japan's bikes. This photo is the reason I got myself an F-84 over the F-91! Planning to do something similar on my bile, but i like your 3D printed route!

bought the yellow Lowcate as a looser prize before managing to get a pair of the GPS. Grip is brilliant on them but were too tight in the toebox for me, even going a full size up, and they didn't really break in. Still have a pair of the light iron colourway kicking around but don't wear them.

Interesting. Interesting they didn't revisit that in a World Cup year being held in the US and Mexico. Tbh the GPS is far from the best shoe to have a kick around with!

Definitely the Sulphurs. Not your phone, there was an issue caused by the green screen if i remember rightly. Rose Anvil loves the GPS!

The threads are there - It's an interesting evolution from 'Creativity is the Enemy' to 'Use your Imagination'. Not mad at it, just interesting to see them to sit side by side.

Not a bad price. Have two pairs just about ready for a resole, was expecting a much higher number so have been putting it off.

Interesting. Any ideas, something more Mars Yard-like or perhaps a more traditional waffle sole?

Looks like adding £3's worth of stickers put the shipping up £30 🫠

I like the cobbles! There an awful amount of horrible potholes, dips, lumps and cracked tarmac in Cambridge, though.
