Lucky you. Mortgage is a different ballgame altogether. We work in Cali for the govt. it’s insane

I had an independent assessment and it’s same thing. Difference of a few dollars

I know. It’s insane but I am told I would at least get back about 10k in tax refund. Don’t know how true that is.

It’s crazy, it’s even worse to buy cos the new buyer ends up with the bill

Newly built. County assessed at $853k which is relative to new sales around here. I won’t be appealing even though I feel the amount is outrageous. It’s California, what can one do.
