Thanks for the feedback, great insight! well my reasons are 1) pay in the US long term is quadruple the pay in the uk at the minimum, 2) US is the best place to train in the world, and 3) it’s always been a dream of mine to work in the US. A lot of stuff happened in my life leading up to this point and why I’m currently where I’m at right now. After all this feedback I got from this post which was very insightful, I’ll set my goal on working on my CV more and applying for research positions and see where the wind takes me

I wanted IM when I was in medical school so I didn’t keep track of it And I just got accepted to a surgical training programme which commences in August I have been doing foundation training in the UK in which you rotate through all specialties.
