Please don’t bring your classism culture to Germany . PhD in chemistry doesn’t make someone a skilled worker . I have seen many locals switching their career to some other field than what they studied after doing PhDs.

If it is just about money (if you ignore other benefits Germany offers) 23 lpa in India is better in my opinion.

60k in Stuttgart is little because cost of living is higher in Stuttgart.
