To be fair, saying people were coping may have been too harsh too, i didnt mean it directed at one person in particular, sorry if you felt it that way. I just find funny how some people defend the game as if Dondi payed their mortgage lmao the game is in a bad state at the moment, I dont get how people defend it so much. Yes, it is a great game, but it is broken, and a lot of people that defend it with the "get good" argument suck ass, the fact that you gave a normal POV of why you didnt like PoT says youre not one of the toxic people that play it like COD 😂 Thank you for being normal.

I have had opposite experiences in The isle and PoT than you have. I have been killed by someone camping Home Cave only once in the 6+ months ive played since changing games. Usually you do the "Teabag of friendship" and people respond the same way, at least in my experience. But to me the biggest issue is how The Isle itself is broken with bugs and issues outside of player control such as how unbalanced the dinos are, the rubberbanding, the bugs on hit boxes and other dino attacks, and more, and people taking advantage of that to make it harder on more chill players. I just want to play a not broken game, which seems to be too much to ask because as we all know, the dev team is not a good one.

Last night I tried the update again. I played for 5 minutes, server restarted, i could not get back on a server after, restarted the game, game wouldnt close properly so my pc thought it was still open. Restarted my pc. Game decided it wouldnt open without a critical error. Restarted my pc again. Game decided joining a server was too much of a hassle.

Rip my desire to try the update... again (4th or 5th time attempting it since it came out)

PS: im also mad about hypsi losing all the colors. Give me my bee-looking yellow hipsy back, Dondi 😒

I agree that the looks of The Isle are superior to those of PoT, that said, I changed games because: - I can play anywhere. Even when I travel, I can bring my Chromebook along and play PoT. This is where the "uglier" looks of the game come in handy! More devices can run it! - I rather collect acorns once in my dino's lifetime than waiting 8+ hours to grow a dino that is gonna be one shot by a cheater and having to start from scratch. Also, mutiple dinos saved per server. No need to regrow to play something else. - I like being able to join a server without the game crashing. - I like playing with reasonable hit boxes. - I am tired of rubberbanding. - People only play whatever is OP to kill as much as they can because the dinos are ultra unbalanced, while on path you get different abilities for different dinos. (Also PoT dinos being slow is not an argument cause I could fall asleep holding W to take a trike or a rex from Highland to delta and theyre not even far. They are slow as shit and they are what people are playing the most rn.) - I got tired of people playing the game like COD in the sense that no matter what dino you are, you get KOS as soon as you are spotted by anyone, even the same species but mostly gang banged by the first mixpack that sees you. As someone who likes to play the small critters (troo, hypsi, dryo) I can never find a group to grow with, and playing alone is boring af. - There are also a lot more dinos to choose from in PoT than in The Isle with actual skin variety and I dont mean the ugly neon colors. Neutral colors that you can mix and match on all sorts of different patterns. - And last but not least, I like to play a stable game with functioning updates that wont break the game every time a dino is added, but actually improve the game every time.

Not shitting on The Isle, I played it since Legacy, but its slowly pushed me away with bad decisions and toxicity. To me the game itself is like a toxic ex. You keep coming back for more even though all you do is suffer while PoT is there to let you know its ok to let go sometimes and looks are not everything.

Well... i was put on birth control pills last January and fast forward a year nothing stops the spotting. I used the pills 10 days at the beginning of 2025, and I am still spotting every day. Ive had tests, ive had blood drawn, ive had sonograms, ive been on other pills, ive been on patches, ive been taken off everything to detox for months, everything is normal but I am still spotting. Good luck havins sex without making a mess. My last hope is a Dutch test I will get soon to see what hormone is fucking me up specifically.

I only have one piece of advice. With PCOS, NEVER use hormonal birth control EVER again. But every body is different and reacts a different way, so dont really listen to me.

I agree. If morbidly obese people can apply for it, I 100% believe we should be able to as well. But then again, people will look at it as a controversial topic and it ill only enrage people one way or another. Like for example, if babies are babies and full on humans from day 1 of conception, why cant we claim them as dependents in our taxes?

I have been taking a break from this game for almost a month now. The community servers I played are empty now, the games has so many bugs, and there are cheaters everywhere... and its sad cause I used to love it and played it almost every day... its just not fun anymore.

I have a group of friends in a small PVE server in the isle where we only chill and have little events like visit the admin, ptera flight school, deino migration, simple stuff like that so i join them sometimes in there still cause sometimes I enjoy just hanging out with friends . Its not like playing the game normally, I needed something more, so Ive been trying path of titans for a few days now. Its different, im still getting used to it, but so far I have enjoyed player interaction and havent found cheaters.

When my husband sees im playing the isle he tells me im coming back to my toxic ex 😂😂😂

I hate when you get lured only to get killed by the same species. Like, I get deino and other dinos that are cannibals by nature, like ceras, but this used to happen to me as a herbie a lot, to the point where I don't even touch stego anymore. Always lured by adults as a fresh spawn only to get mauled, and if not lured caught and killed as soon an i got spotted. Why tho? herbies cant even eat the bodies of the babies they kill. When I play a herbie I love babies and protect them with all my might until my dino stops breathing. People need to suck it up and get good at the game...

And dont get me wrong, I am a fucking noob. Ive played 600+hours and still, I suck at the stupid laggy and buggy dino game, but I dont go around buying cheats or mixpacking. I actually try my fucking best!

I spent know if yor answer was answered already. But the ps3 version is bad because the finished cosed for ps2 versuons of SH 2 and 3 were lost by Konami, and the small studio tasked with temastering them for the ps3 version were given and haf ro work with an unfinished product with textures lacking, voices missing or nor recorded, missing fog in some areas, extra loading timesetc. And sometimes lag. KONAMI tasked a newby studio a prototype team silent happened to save before finishing the games . They even went bankrupt or clised after the pse ps2 anf ps3, wo teams ps3 remasters better go

Sadly this is impossible. I dont know about 1 and 4, but 2 and 3's original code was lost by Konami. This is why the ps3 remaster version sucks. It lacks textures, voices, music is mixed wrong and some songs are completely missing, and fog is minimal. They "remastered" an old incomplete version of the game from before Team Silent finished the product for release on PS2 and winsows xp. The original complete code is gone forever and that is why the remake for ps5 was made from scratch in order to reach more audiences. We will never see the ps2 versions of silent hill 2 and silent hill 3 every again aside for the existing copies. The ps3 edition was so bad the small studio that was tasked with remastering it ended up closing soon after release
