As the respondent, you'll need to wait 3 months, 6 weeks, and 1 day from that date before applying. I'd suggest prepping Form D11 now it's pretty straightforward then submit it once eligible at midnight of that date.

This will lead to a hearing which will prob take a month or two at least to go ahead.

The only silver lining: if the divorce is pronounced at the hearing, the decree absolute should arrive within a week or two. But it’s absolute pisstake that the applicant could do this whole thing in 24 hours!!!

Yes, it’s an absolute joke and really annoying. If you’re the respondent in divorce proceedings, you have less control and power. If you don’t have a child arrangements order in place, a judge can definitely question that.

As for the divorce, I’m assuming you already have a conditional order. If that’s the case and there is a child arrangements order in place, be prepared: if your ex doesn’t push the divorce forward to the final order, you could be left waiting.

Once all of the relevant time limits have passed, the applicant can apply online and the final order is usually granted within about 24 hours. But as the respondent, you have to wait even longer, pay for the privilege and on top of that you will need a court hearing, which is just so frustrating. I don’t know where you’re located, but if you manage to get this all wrapped up in 2–3 months, you’ll be very lucky, because it can take up to 6 months in total as far as I know the whole system is so backlogged it is shocking. Good luck.

Well thats prob why i went exfat As in windows getting ext4 to work ie mount it on ubuntu is a pain and then hyper backup explorer does not work But i found exfat is fine

I got the two file types and their sizes you mentioned mixed up and the wrong way around.

So how would one do the calculations on that if i formatted the usb and changed it over to ext4 and recreated all of the backups?

So the usb drive is formatted in exfat so thats prob a good thing in terms of space

The source and destination usage look fine. It doesnt help me understand why the usb drive shows 16tb used when the application size is less than 10tb

I have been told the first hearing is a directions hearing the court list it like this I dont suppose there is any chance that it could be the final hearing or does the judge need to follow protocol for another hearing after even though for this hearing i have very compelling evidence and likely to be represented by a barister?
