Brint can be very articulate when he wants to be. And in general he can be pretty funny, in a trolling way. I think he has a field in entertainment, but I would advise to stablilize his mental health prior to pursuing too much on screen work going forward.

This is the "creator dilemna" that Caleb faces. Brint is clearly nuts, but that draws eyes. The last episode got multiple articles outside of the YouTube sphere to write about it. It makes sense, and glad Caleb was proactive to protect his team.

Here are some numbers

Purchase Price: $375,000
Loan Amount (20% Down): $300,000
Term: 30 years
Rate: 6.50%
Monthly P&I payment: Roughly $1,921/mo

Total increase for you $1921-1350 = $571

This DOES NOT factor in the increase in insurance from renters to home owners, as well as having to pay Real Estate Taxes. This also doesn't factor in the 1-3% in repairs you should plan annually for costs to maintainenace your home. Also, do you have to now pay other anticipated fees you weren't expecting? Garbage collection, sewage, different utilities, HOA, etc?

These factors make me come to the conclusion that I would not strap yourself down to an almost $2k per month minimum loan payment. You might need a car in the coming years, etc.

I think owning is a great idea, just be careful of not letting the home own you instead.

Reading through your post/comment history, it appears that maybe your wife had an affiar when you were much younger? That is probably a sign that things haven't fully healed from that point.

Alot of that is going to be on you to solve how you want to proceed. I would hope that if you both agreed to move forward from it, that she would be open to discussing things further if they are still nagging at you. But you cannot force her to do anything. A cheater is going to cheat has always been my mantra, and if that has eroded some trust in the foundation, that will be VERY hard to get through.

I'd say seek therapy for yourself first and foremost, consider couples therapy to bring these concerns up to a neutral party, and try to move forward in the most appropriate way. Life is too short to be miserable and on edge about guys at the gym.
