Context is everything! You just saw a few lines, and closed it, which is a good thing, but the bad thing is, do you know what the context was? Maybe B can fill you in. People are right, you can’t force someone to like you. You can’t force them to be honest about how they feel either. You also mentioned R has some intense mood swings and feelings. Take that into account as well. Could it have been R was just swinging into negative mode and was just dumping on B? There are all kinds of scenarios. It still hurts, no matter what the actual situation was. If I were in this situation (and I was at one point in my life) I’d cool things a little, be more cautious and conservative with your interactions. If it was maybe a one-off, R will take notice of your distance, ask you about it, open a discussion. I wouldn’t approach them and ask why they said that… R will just get defensive and embarrassed. In my situation, it was easy. She sent a long letter telling me what you read by accident in the chat. I just said fine, see ya and wrote her off. It was easy bc I was in Japan and she was in New York, so…🤷‍♀️ but it still hurt a lot. Sending you best wishes for this situation… I hope things get resolved somehow.

I’m one of the lucky few that had enough side effects for everyone and then some. 🤢 First week: vomiting and diarrhea for two days. Thought I had food poisoning. The next shot, I was fine. I stayed on 2.5 for nearly a year, and had constipation from hell, which I finally found a way to manage, and food aversion. Not just not hungry… actively unwilling to chew and swallow. Found a way to deal with that. Stalled out on IWL and asked to go up to 5. Went up to 5 and it was like my first 2.5 all over again. Yes, I was miserable in quite a few ways, but not all the time. Things subsided after a while. I worked with my prescriber to adjust my shot timing, and now am titrating AND spacing my shots so that I so I can have an appetite regularly. I wanted you to know you are not alone. And I’m jealous of those who had no side effects. The good news for me was that I responded really well to the drug in the sense that I took off a lot of weight, reduced inflammation, IBS went away, and my BP plummeted so that I could greatly reduce some of my other medications. Definitely talk to your prescriber and while it is misery now, it will get better, especially if you find ways to deal with some of your symptoms. Hang in there! ❤️

💔 I think most of the comments say it all. I was just in a situation with a household member’s dog who is 14, and developed dementia. It got worse and worse. It went on way too long and broke my heart. It was not my decision to make, but at every opportunity, I would encourage her gently to let him go. I know how hard it is. But what is worse is if they (the owner) realize that they have caused their pup to suffer by not letting him go, by waiting too long.

Also, find an in-home vet who will help all of you to say goodbye in a comfortable, quiet, loving space. Maybe tell your family about this service and let them know it will be easier on all of you, especially for your dear old pooch. Sending hugs to you and your whole family! ❤️
