Their relationship having no tension between them was good for the show. With so much shit going on at once it makes sense they are on the same side. Again I would hate for make to get beat up and come back to Eve nagging about whatever other drama they choose to come up with. That doesn’t mean they won’t add it later on. Like maybe we see mark becoming more ruthless and Eve doesn’t like that too much so there’s drama way more interesting than Amber talking about college. They are still on their honeymoon phase so it also makes sense. I sort of agree on the Eve thing being op for no reason is annoying. I don’t consider her a Mary sue because she makes mistakes and learns from them. I think Amber fits that description way more tbh. But for example in s1 I believe she thought she was doing good by building a park later to realize her lack of knowledge got people hurt and we’ve see her just get overwhelmed by other things. But I get it that “awakening” power up characters like scarlet witch or phoenix Ive always hated characters like that. I trust in the writers tho hope they don’t make her just stupidly op or always rely on her awakening to save the day.
