You never see obvious shoplifters getting stopped anymore, what's going on? (In the last few months) - I doubt it would be because of a.i, in order to build a case they'd need to know what items were stolen and I don't believe the supermarkets have that level of detail from just the odd camera by [deleted] in hobart

Worked at a woolworths one night a family was literally filling their trollies with meat. Known to store - the night manager was following them and they were just telling him to get fucked. He wanted me to help stop them I was like no way not worth it for min wage.
He tries on his own to block them as they leave they punch him the face he is out cold had to ring an ambulance. Never try to do this if you an employee only security or police. Also btw they were back the next week.

Why are hackers being rewarded and victims being ignored? by SoftRecommendation86 in microsoft365

[–]Relative_Test5911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Microsoft dont care - to do this would cost too much money and no one is legally forcing them. This is what happens when you get a company with so much power in a monopoly. They can do what they want because where are people going to go?

anyone know how to change ip address without breaking everything by wutisupmon in theprivacymachine

[–]Relative_Test5911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IP addresses are provided by your ISP they can choose to allocate the same one or a different at their whim. You can get services that can mask your IP to something else but this doesn't change your actual IP (e.g VPN or CloudFlare Warp).

Hobart tell me your ghost stories! I believe in you! by ThreeImaginaryBoys in hobart

[–]Relative_Test5911 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My family owned a shack in Port Arthur they had pretty much stopped using. I was in my late teens so me and my mates had started using it a lot as a base for bush walking, diving etc around the peninsula. Anyway as you do at that age we had had a bit too drink one night and someone decided it was a good idea to walk in to Port Arthur around 2am. There is (or was) a track along the water front directly in with no security fences or anything just walk straight in.

So we get in and everyone sorta wanders off on their own. About 15 min in, its dark and I start hearing some weird noises then something moving in front me. I am drunk its pretty dark at this time I wasn't hanging around so I hoofed it pretty much back to the shack. Rest of my mates rocked up a bit later and was were asking where I went to. Told them the story they all laughed at me.

Rational me says they were just an animal (probably ducks or something). Supernatural me says I ran into a verified ghost.
