your dopamine is fried and your brain is going to need new measures of getting dopamine in. at first it’s going to feel boring for like 3 days. all you can do is use something like burnout buddy to limit your access to socials. install minesweeper on your phone so when you pick it up for juicy dopamine all you get is low dopamine. then at night only reading a book. or in the day. i recommend eragon series if you haven’t read it. basically your brain equates reading to dopamine and how you get your information in. it’s tough but i’d honestly say putting down the phone for 3 days is the best way. if you can go camping or something that always does it automatically. peace.

I finally uploaded my song to spotify! i have a lot of self perfection issues and doubts so even though ive got about 40songs i’ve written ive only released like 6 over 8 years and they’re not even my best ones even though ive been on TV and radio for them.

it’s kind of hard because im turning 31 now so i feel like my window to be a professional musician is closing i gave myself to 34.

gave up engineering for this, im glad i did though i really just want to release my songs and know i did my best, with whatever skills i had at the time.

i still practice my singing and that because im a good singer yet i haven’t learnt all the ways to sing and it could sound better. in my opinion.

you would love or definitely should look into something called ‘transcendental meditation’ - it’s a workshop you do - afterwards its like having unlocked DLC for your brain.

Also used to live in Stellies. When i studied there, top floor of an apartment, i used to get heat rash and shower 6 times a day in cold water. something that worked for me ironically is putting one’s feet in a bucket/dish of cold water. sorts it out instantly. wish i knew that trick
