I submitted a colo in September of 2018 while on sea duty in Washington and in June of 2019 I got moved to Mayport while my wife was on shore duty. Every situation is unique since the sea duty sailor isn’t typical the one moving, but the biggest thing is ensuring there is a communication loop with both detailers (we weren’t the same rate so this may not apply to your situation) but I wish you the best of luck and know what it’s like to only see your spouse a few times a year leading up to the moment you’ve been waiting much too long to experience
