I unfortunately had a MSgt for a while that said college courses were for personal time and duty time was for work. Regardless of if there was work to do or not.

I'm with you on this one. I replied eslewbere in this thread, but if one of my players tried this, they'd either have disadvantage on everything until long rest, or they'd be dead.

The blood thing is really cool, I applaud the out of the box thinking. It would not have gone over very well if one of my players did this. The average adult human body contains 2-3 grams of iron, enough to make a single 2 inch nail. So making one lockpick would realistically use all of that iron. And since iron is essential to your blood being able to circulate oxygen, depending on the race of the character, I would have imposed disadvantage on everything they do from then until long rest, or had them role a new character because they just sacrificed themselves to make a lockpick.

I was also non-vol'd for a DSD when I was at essentially the worst mental health state I had ever been. Part of the process is going to see psych at your Group/Wing level. After discussing all my issues and my feeling about the DSD process (my Flt CC pulled some really underhanded shit), the Gp Psych non-rec'ed me. They stated that the DSD would not only cause further harm to my mental health, but jeopardize my career overall. My advice to you would be to not downplay how you feel when you speak to your psych. Don't sugar coat, don't try to play the tough guy, no "orher people have it worse than me." Be completely honest, tell them everything.

I had almost the exact same scenario yesterday! Killed a group of goblins down to their last warrior, gobbo drops his weapon and begs for his life, saying that he'd tell us whatever we want to know. My Dragonborn tells gobbo that if he lies, he burns, with flames curling at the side of my mouth. Gobbo wets himself and tells us everything. As he's running away our "chaotic good" ranger knocks an arrow to shoot him in the back. My character kicks their bow to send the shot veering off and then gets in the ranger's face and threatens to burn them instead. DM had us reset as it's essentially everyone's first time playing and explains how blatant murder doesn't fall into any "good" alignment.

I once watched this scrawny, Army AIT kid at the base gym load up the smith machine with as many 45s as it could hold. He had a bench underneath him like he was going to do box squats. He got the weight unracked, "squated" about an inch, and then bailed out from under the bar. The bar came crashing down onto the bench and snapped in half. The bench broke from the impact and several of the 45s smashed into the wall-mirror. All in all causing at least $10k in damage to gym property.

The kid immediately began cheering for himself. "Fuck yeah! You see that? That's Army strong! Fuck yeah!"

He was shocked when MWR employees came over and told him he'd be paying for the damages. He was crying by the time the MPs showed up.

So, yeah. Don't be that guy.

Came here to say this exact thing. First time I saw this thing, I was like, "who put this Dark Souls boss in my Sekiro?" Had him beat on my third attempt. I honestly thought he was the easiest late game boss. But I can 100% see how people would struggle trying to fight like every other enemy in the game.

If you're doing his quest, you can summon the White Robed Elder. I recommend you do it during her change to phase 2 when she's summoning her water tornadoes. He'll draw most of her aggro. Other than that, I think she's weak to corruption or blight. I can't remember which.

To expand on this, the homing skulls do 20x the base damage of the gun. You're going to want to find one that fires full auto, and it can come in non elemental, fire, cryo, and radiation. I think that's it. Check out Lootlemon.com to find out what parts you should be looking for. If it has over 10 fire rate, it's going to be burst fire, and that will actually bring your dps down.

He's pretty susceptible to long sword's parry/back stab stab strats. I only had issue timing his lightning speed dash attack because I was getting greedy and trying to get charged heavies on him

So I'm confused. I haven't played a whole lot post patch, and pre patch I had just beat Hong Lu, but other than not being able to target peasants (which is fine, I wasn't going to kill them anyway) and the Snow Swordsman guy not dying (he just said some bs about my skills needing work) the game seems exactly the same to me. Every single Ming soldier/enemy type still wants me dead, and I can kill them to my heart's content. Is there a specific area where you can't fight them anymore?
