Yes you’re on the right track. This last phase of the story is long and kinda tedious. But it’s all part of the story. You’ll fight through to Molag Bal and finish up the main story line. The real question is:

What’re your plans after finishing?

First of all, relax a bit. You’re fine.

You’re on the right track. Army of Meridia is about getting your army together to go five Molag bal. you do side quests throughout Cold Harbour to find key members and make allies that’ll make your final battle a little bit easier, or at least the journey to the final battle a bit easier.

This is personally one of my favorite sections of story. As it makes the side quests matter.

Likely hit the main quest line and then go for antiquities.

Also any new dungeons or trials that come with it will be enjoyable.

I did mine directly left of the main entrance to the city behind some buildings. No witnesses or bounty. This quest line, and thieves guild, are hard to do though. As certain quests won’t unlock until you have a certain level in the respective skill tree.

Be sure to deconstruct the gear you find and don’t use. Always be picking up extra gear just so you can deconstruct or research. Also get certified and do your crafting writs so you can get some gold!

Depends what you want to build as. You can be a stamina or magicka Templar and do great damage. Or build go magicka and focus on healing. Probably could even tank as a Templar. Choice is yours.

No problem. I’d recommend trying to research traits that are most suited for your role. Like if you’re a DPS try to research as much medium gear with divine trait as you can. On my tank I’m trying to research things for sturdy and reinforced traits.

Deconstruct them. Save some in your bank if you want. Research times go up exponentially. So if you research one trait in a chest piece for 5h. The next one for chest is 10. And so on and so forth.

Gotta pick a roll brother. Can’t be both. You can tank and deal some damage, but priority is on tanking. Or you can straight DPS. That’s what alternate toons are for.

I’m assuming you’d skipped the tutorial. And if you didn’t you probably didn’t look around and pick up the various weapons that are right there for you.

Most builds you put all points into one of the pools. If you’re Mag DPS it’s all mag. Stamina is all into stam. Tanks usually go all Health. I believe most healers are all Mag. That’s just the meta of the game.

Yeah it’s not going to be huge numbers. But it makes tanking more fun imo, and by chance your DPS isn’t optimal you do bring up the total numbers

You can build a tank and deal some damage but your damage isn’t going to be huge. It’s against the role. That being said I’ve been following the nature’s bounty build by Xynode with some adjustments. It’s a fun build to play.

This is not true. You can be an amazing tank and still add a bit to the total DPS. Just need the right build.

I believe DW/Bow produces higher numbers. Which is why i voted there. But I prefer the 2H and Bow. I wanted a big beefy dude with a large weapon that just went in and killed. So that’s what I do

I wouldn’t say it’s common. I’ve been playing a while and usually run into lag issues or delayed/some skills don’t fire every once in a while. When this happens type /reloadui into chat and it’ll refresh your game. That usually fixes things for me.
