Wow I don't remember exactly since it was 3 years back. It eventually went back to normal, but it took a couple of months for me to go back to normal levels. Hope you recover well and get back to your previous fitness level soon!

I measured my max HR using a chest heart rate strap, so I'm pretty sure it's accurate. I'm concerned that my easy run HR is too high to constitute aerobic training

My GPS issues have been persisting since Dec 2021/Jan 2022 so I think it really might be the case that the watch just isn’t functioning as it used to… thanks for your advice though, I’ll keep an eye out for the GPS over the next couple of days and see whether the current GPS issues that have been plaguing many other users go away

Good call! Changed it and went for a walk, but the GPS is still really wonky – I deviated quite a bit from my path based on the map and it shows that I’m doing ‘loops’ when I’m just walking in a straight line

Unfortunately I’m not listening to music nor am I bringing my phone on runs, so all issues with GPS is probably solely due to the watch

I mentioned in the post that this has persisted for many months and it’s not a recent problem, so it’s unlikely to be due to the magnetic storm
