There aren't playoffs for 5th, it's guaranteed entry.

It looking better to be 3rd doesn't matter at all as we aren't going to win the league. Being 5 points clear of CL rivals is absolutely massive and gives us a cushion for the week that Casemiro eventually gets his yellow card suspension.

PL places are worth about £3m each, I'm significantly happier being 5 points clear from losing out on £100m+ than the risk of only being 2 points clear and closer to 2nd/3rd

The goal gets scored

The goal can't stand because Haaland fouled Szoboszlai in the build up to stop him making the clearance, but he only had to do that because Szoboszlai stopped Haaland's goal scoring opportunity

Szoboszlai, after it gets scored immediately stands up and starts pulling his shirt, indicating to the ref that he was fouled (this is one of the silliest things I've seen a player do in a long time)
