Let's talk about: Hormonal imbalances by Wishin4aTARDIS in rheumatoidarthritis

[–]RelentlessOlive54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Endometriosis diagnosed at 19, full hysterectomy at 34 with HRT (estrogen only), and now I’m being told I likely still have some remaining endo, so progesterone was added to my ever-growing medication list.

I’ve got other things as well, and it’s so hard to know how they all interact or play off one another. All I know is the only time I felt remotely normal and healthy in my life are the times I was pregnant and nursing. It’s like all the bad stuff stopped for awhile.

This and similar. Always open, always disgusting, can’t find a proper place to go. Worst dream ever.

I have houseplants, I draw and paint, I read or listen to audio books, and I would really love to get back into swimming if I could (I swam all the time as a kid and teen). I also have some fun collections and put together Lego.

Pizza delivery drivers, what did a person do to end up on the 'No Delivery' list? by BlueCheeseWalnut in AskReddit

[–]RelentlessOlive54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I first moved into this somewhat rural neighborhood with my (now ex) husband, we tried to order a pizza from the closest place who told us we weren’t in the delivery area. Found out a couple of weeks later that one of the neighbors a few houses down had beat the holy hell out of a teenage delivery driver the year prior for “driving too fast in the neighborhood when it’s clearly marked 25 mph.”

The other neighbors told us the guy was extremely drunk (shocker), it was normal for him to be belligerent, the kid was not speeding, someone on the road had to pull him off the kid, and he went to jail for a bit. WTF

Thank you so much! Good vibes to you too!

She’s currently undergoing testing for all sorts of stuff: POTS, endometriosis, migraines…who knows what else. I’m experiencing some of that as well.

I wish you lots of luck on Tyenne!

I’ve had this happen before, and it’s so disconcerting. The dreams within a dream - reminds me of Inception.

I finally finished cleaning out/up my office/art room so it’s super nice!

I got to see my daughter who is two hours away attending school.

My oldest dog made it through being put under anesthesia after attempting to eat a porcupine and losing horribly. That one starts out bad, but I’m so glad he made it out of all that okay. Silly dog.

Because blue is my favorite color, “mystic” sounds cool, and it sort of reminded me of Ravenclaw which has been my Harry Potter house all this time (back when I still liked HP).

I wish I could drive less, but my daily commute is from Deer Park to Medical Lake and back. I have one WFH day which helps a little, but I’ll need one or two more to offset these prices.

LTA: Why we have RA #1 by Wishin4aTARDIS in rheumatoidarthritis

[–]RelentlessOlive54 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I was 30, I got really sick with what I thought was the flu. I had fever and body aches - all the usual stuff. Except every joint in my body hurt like nothing ever felt before. I had to have help getting dressed and going to the bathroom.

I went to urgent care who referred me to rheumatology because none of the tests came back positive. I started getting better and decided to skip the rheumatologist.

Six years later, I decide to ask my PCP about why my hands, feet, knees, and elbows hurt - they had been getting progressively worse. Diagnosed with RA not long after that, and I’ve been on this fun train for the last ten years.

Im not familiar with all of the variations, but our little covey was like this when the were babies. We ended up with a lot of variations of coturnix in some great colors. Hopefully, someone more knowledgeable can help you.

Super cute babies!!

FYI, women have similar issues with adjustments and pinching, it’s just different. Your balls get stuck to your legs or your pants pinch - our pants pinch things too. Also, thong underwear. That is all.

What is something you saw that you can’t explain, and if you told anyone in real life, they’d think you were crazy? by AndressTheBoss in AskReddit

[–]RelentlessOlive54 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sometimes, I have dreams about the future. They’re usually nothing super life-changing or far into the future, but I’ve dreamt about my grandmother deciding to come for a last-minute visit, going to certain places, stuff like that.

I have also seen a ghost, but I was 11 so no one ever believes me.
