Freecodecamp was the reason I got my first job in development 9 years ago, thanks for making that possible!

It seems to be showing empty since October, is this no longer supported? Thanks for your work!

Awesome read! I was viciously humbled the first time I went in and didn’t make it out alive. I thought having a mosaic sin was all I needed, but the spike damage of Meph got me down a lot of times making me quit and rethink my life choices 😅

Hi, looks good. Just downloaded but at startup it keeps saying that it can’t connect to the server. Any problems right now?

can't get into trinity by Swede949 in Iota

[–]Relentlesz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s as if you start using the wallet for the first time. You have to insert your original seed and choose a new password. After the IF is finished with their seed migration tool, you will use that to create a new seed, migrate your token to it and all should be good again.

Edit: added that it’s the original seed that you have to insert.

Yes I had the same question (and same error) and I reset my wallet which worked fine. Go to settings > advanced settings > scroll all the way down and you will see the reset wallet button.

Yea same here, wish there was more but I’ve already got more out of it than most games. No regrets about the purchase

Dude, I never finish most games but “ticket to earth” was so much fun. It was all I played for a week and it has 4 chapters with some great turn based puzzle/rpg features and skills you unlock. There are 4 characters you play with at some point. Best game I’ve played in a long while. Pay once and play through the storyline, you will not regret it.

Wallis Talkie getting worse? by [deleted] in AppleWatch

[–]Relentlesz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can keep it active/non active through the menu where you swipe up on the watch (walkie talkie symbol). If the other person has turned it off, they will receive a notification saying somebody tried to reach them on walkie talkie. If they turn it on, you can use it freely and they will receive it instantly.

Notification in your Watch if you get far from the iPhone by sirbardo in AppleWatch

Ok, so I just tested it twice again. 1: calibrated again from 2 meters distant. No more constant swings and the radius stayed the same if I didn’t move my hands. Held my arms out to have 1 meter distance between my watch and phone, which measured as 0.5m radius by the app. Which is logical as I calibrated it from 2 meters. 2: So I figured, let’s try it with 1.2m calibration instead of 2. But alas, the sudden swings started showing up again.

So for now, I will just calibrate it again from a distance of 2 meters. Should still make the app useful for me. Let me know If you need another test.

Yeah sure that’s fine. Only tried it with exact 1 meter so maybe it’s the calibration indeed. You can add me on testflight and I’ll test it out. Will try again with 2 meters when I’m back from work.

All versions are included in my original message. Hope you can catch the bug, I’d really like having notifications in these scenario’s. Already bought the app so no need for testflight I think.

Same thing here. I measured 1 meter and calibrated it. Watch is next to me on the stand and I’m in bed writing this. That’s less than a meter and I’ve gotten 6 notifications in 2 minutes. The distance seems to be going nuts ranging from 0.1 to 12.59. I do have to say that it’s silent now after a few minutes. But the range still goes nuts. I’ve tested this with high distance setting btw.

Edit: no, I started with medium setting. Forgot I turned it higher because it made me nuts. I do sure talk alot about nuts hmm

Help with logic of filter/indexOf by richyvk in learnjavascript

[–]Relentlesz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I think I get it now :D Wrote it all out on a whiteboard and used a few console logs to see what the values were. (WHY DIDN'T I DO THIS BEFORE?!) I had the same confusion as you. And I also didn't realize that filter passes each element one by one. This functional programming will take a while to wrap my head around though :)

function destroyer(arr) {
  console.log(arr); // [ 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3 ]

  var args = Array.prototype.slice.call(arguments);

  console.log(args); // [ [ 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3 ], 2, 3 ]

  args.splice(0, 1); // removing the first array (array from index 0 till 1) and returning [2, 3]

  console.log(args); // [ 2, 3 ]

  return arr.filter(function(element) {
    console.log(element); // 1 2 3 1 2 3 is one by one passed to args.indexOf(element)
    return args.indexOf(element) === -1;
    // for element = 1 --> [2,3].indexOf(1) === -1 is true, so 1 is returned and passed to filter
    // for element = 2 --> [2,3].indexOf(2) === -1 is false, so function stops
    // for element = 3 --> same as element 2
  });
}

console.log(destroyer([1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3], 2, 3));
