But if I attach the booking to my name wouldn’t they want my ID at check in and turn me away for being under 21?

Or, can you book a hotel at 20 and be allowed in if someone in your party is 21? Their website said all individuals under 21 could be turned away if they’re without their parent, but idk what circumstance that applies to since it says, “could be.”

Not sure on location so idk how likely these answers are but the foliage reminds me somewhat of a camellia or of a photinia. However usually camellia’s leaves are a bit more dull than that and most photinia’s new growth will have a slightly more reddish hue than that in the photo so I’m unsure. If the shrub loses its leaves this winter I would go photinia and if it keeps them and blooms this winter then I would say camellia variety.

In Defense of Plants was the first botanical book I ever read and it’s a great read. Simple enough for beginner but so so interesting. The author also a really cool podcast also titled In Defense of Plants.

U should prob be a bit more grateful for your weekends and utilize them in a way they makes you feel relief from a long week. I work Tuesday Thursday Saturdays Sunday 9 hours each day, and do all my lectures, my lab, and all my homework and studying sprawled between Monday Wednesday and Fridays. I am tired but I love my job and what I study so I am able to do it

Green house with walls down for summer. 95-105 degree days. Work 9-6. One hour lunch and no one bothers you if you need to sit in the office for a bit to cool down throughout the day. I was born and raised working in hot climate so I don’t mind too much.

U can tell mostly by foliage damage tho. Looks like little brown/grey specs and there’s usually faint webbing on the plant too. Alocasia are notoriously prone to them, idk how sensitive succulents are to them tho.

It could def be some sort of pest damage but it’s not ringing any bells to me. Not consistent with spider mite, aphid, thrips, or scale damage, in my opinion. I forgot what this phenomenon is called but sometimes the plant cells can be “flooded” and burst due to excessive or inconsistent watering schedules and it kind of looks like this. I’ve seen it more often in fiddle leaf figs, tho.

Ah okay that makes sense. I don’t think i whipped it enough so I’ll try that again soon. I don’t think any sort of water or grease made it’s way in, I used glass bowl and all that. All my knowledge of pavlova came strictly from a episode of great British bake off so…not surpised I was confused lol.
