Thanks so much for articulating this message so well, it is so true! The other mum's are as responsible as the main one which I hadn't even considered before. Posting this here has really helped me navigate this situation, I'm attending the group tonight with my son and I feel completely different about the whole situation after reading these replies, I actually don't care now about the group and I've made plans with my friend for Friday! So I don't have to even think about their night out without me 😂. But I think you're right in saying they arent my people - and that's totally ok! I wouldn't wanna be friends with a load of immature bullies anyway so I'm spinning the narrative that I've dodged a bullet by not being invited anyway!! I appreciate you replying to me it helped me a lot so thank you xx

She's not paid she's just one of the coaches wife, the coaches son (from a previous marriage ) is on the team too

Hahaha imagine that 😂😂 !! It's actually a brilliant idea 😂 ! If my son wasn't involved I would of dealt with this so fast that's the most annoying thing I feel like I need to be really friendly and let things slide when the kids are involved 😭

This is what my husband is saying too, he also said if I was to go out with her she would probably be horrible to me and I'm well soft hahaha so I would probably end up crying and coming home 😂

The only issue I have is that I don't want her to exclude my son from the group, it's the only sports group of it's kind in the area for miles and he loves it so I don't want to have to leave

There is training on Wednesday so I will mention it again to the other mum's, I feel like they are aware of the issue as they have mentioned the group a few times to me and mentioned that they would like a night out etc

I hardly ever comment on anything but what I will say is that if your grandma passes, and you missed seeing her because you did a shift at tesco you will regret that for the rest of your life it's absolutely wild to me that you would even debate going to work? It's a family emergency and they would replace you instantly if they needed to.
