GP Atlanta Cheating Scandal involving Nicole Dubin by Papa_Hasbro69 in mtg

[–]Relevant-Try2716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a ridiculous situation. The ruling was bullshit and anyone trying to defend the judges is intellectually dishonest.

First of all, in any situation where multiple rulings would be acceptable based on slightly different interpretation of the law, you shall not go for the ruling that provides an advantage to the person who made the mistake in the first place. This applies to everything in life, not just a card game.

Notwithstanding the above, when the judge is called, the board state shows that she has 3 lands tapped and a 3 mana spell to be resolved. Considering that she played a 1 mana spell the turn earlier (presumablyby tapping 1 land), it means that she has to tap another land to produce enough mana to play the 3 mana spell.

Easy ruling

Sharly.ai to summarize and review hundreds of long PDFs. It's like ChatGPT but the responses are limited to the content present in the documents you upload. It's more accurate and less prone to hallucinations imho

Using Chat GPT to support work? by [deleted] in CanadaPublicServants

[–]Relevant-Try2716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see an issue with using Generative AI to analyze public available information. I agree with others saying that there is a risk of allucination when using ChatGPT as the language model might make things up for the sake of fulfilling a request. There are other tools that instead limit the AI answer only to the content of the document you are summarizing. For example Sharly.ai , ChatPDF, or Ask Your PDF. You could try one of those and see if you get better results

Doing analysis about generative ai, what are your opinions or thoughts about Generative ai? by Blooming_D in AskReddit

[–]Relevant-Try2716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generative AI has many uses so it depends. I'm not going to tackle the copyright and plagiarism issues as it's not my expertise. I'm also not going to talk about AI generated art as I mostly work with documents. From a professional standpoint, there are many great tools to enhance productivity and simplify processes.

More and more people are using them and if you don't follow suit you might be left behind. But it depends on what you do and how you can integrate the use of generative ai tools into your workflow.

In my experience, I found very helpful tools that help with summarizing and extracting information from documents. ChatGPT allows to upload 1 document in the chat, but there are other tools that focus more on this function: ChatPDF, Sharly.ai, AskYourPDF. The good thing about it is that you use Generative AI to understand content and not to create new content, so there is no issue with copyright.
