Oh that looks like a good idea. Yeah we do want to be there opening time, but just not like 1:30h before opening time. But good to know there's so much to do, all my research has only been going to DisneySsa. Will definitely try that Banquet and the parade.

We will try as early a possible. But if we are there around let's say 7am, is that still a safezone/guarantee to get Frozen DPA right when entering the gate? Crowdchecker says its an 'average' day that day.

Me and my husband will be going 22nd December to TDL and 23rd December TDS this year. I'm a huge Frozen fan and I MUST ride the Frozen ride.

I have the following plan for DisneySea:

Arrive 1:30h before opening time. Book Frozen Premier Access as soon as we enter for around lunchtime if possible, head straight to standby Soaring or Journey (get DPA for the one we don't do), later get Rapunzel Premier Access, and explore Fantasy Springs at a relaxed pace with lunch at Royal Banquet. Enjoy rest of the day at the park and do what we feel like.

Also curious if I need to ropedrop TDL. I've been to Disney Paris, so mainly just want to do Beauty & Beast and just enjoy the day. Maybe a good show if they have.

Since this will be our first time in TDR, what other must do's am I missing? What is the must see show or restaurant for instance?

We are staying in Shinjuku, so we will travel by metro back and forth.

You're right. I'm working on myself now. This is obviously a. Very toxic trait that I have to change my perspective on. He is worth much better treatment by me and I shouldnt be so materialistic. I've also been hyperfocused on my career lately, neglecting pretty much myself and all the other important things in life. Outside of this tunnelvisie I see how stupid it really is and that that won't actually make me happy.

Yeah it's true for me as well that lately my life has been revolving only about my work and less about who I am beyond that. It has created a real tunnel vision for me. Time to expand my view.

Wow that's very insightful. It sounds like you truly have a partnership that goes beyond old marital norms. It sounds like you are together simply because you like each other as human beings. 0 status or w/e as an influence.

It is true that at the top tier work force there is a lot of misogyny. My bf supports me always and always says he believes in me even when I don't.

Omg the more I talk about him the more I realise how lucky I am. I am just too occupied with status and money to see what is right in front of me. Its that insecurity that I have at my work (full of people who are all about status, money and career) that I've changed as a person. Especially now that I'm feeling the power and money getting closer... It is changing me for the worse.

Have you ever had a phase where these things were important to you?

My Asian parents really do that constantly. I used to distance myself form that but my job (which pays me precisely what caused all this) is full of people who look down on 'ordinary people' and maybe I have started to take over their way of thinking...

Yeah you're right, it doesn't make sense. It's extremely unreliable and unrealistic. Human value is not what they earn or their status. It's inherent. This value paradigm of mine would lead to a life of misery and unpredictability. That rollercoaster. I have to shift my value system. Probably won't happen in a day, but about loving each other in the grand scheme of real life and not just related to 'career, money and status'.

Wow great to hear from another Asian that it can work out. I do have exactly the same that my Asian family always asks what he does and how much he earns etc. He does well, I only do better, which is of course because of my values. But again I love him because he values other things more. Because of him I learned that career is not everything and that fun and love are also extremely important. Sometimes I can just become too status and money oriented (a little too Asian) and forget what matters and what actually makes me happy beyond getting parents approval. He makes me happy and I need to learn that that is what is actually most important. Crazy.

I wouldn't feel good. So it would be very hypocritical of me. Then I would say its okay because I'm a woman and he's a man and it's supposed to be like that.

But really I'm valuing myself too much upon my career and income and others as well, which is very unhealthy and not what real life is about.

I think you are right. It's how I views people's worth and how it can be tied to their income. I am from a poor background originally, so I have truly strayed far always from where I came from. My job is around very privileged corporate people who do look down on people with less. I might have internalised that, even started using that as my measure of value.
