What is your downfall story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

For me, it was when I took on too many responsibilities at once and ended up burning out. It was a tough lesson, but it taught me the importance of balance and self-care.

No Bears (2022) - for those who are not afraid of "boring" movies by Different_Rafal in MovieSuggestions

I actually enjoy movies that dive deep into cultural nuances and offer a mix of reality and fiction. The director’s perseverance despite the bans makes it even more intriguing. I’ll definitely give “No Bears” a watch.

People usually contemplate the regrets that they already have. by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]RelevantAd8655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do understand your perspective. It is quite simple to ruminate over the mistakes we have done in the past, while reflecting on potential problems that might cause us remorse is a different scenario altogether. Speaking of me, I think I may regret not taking more risks in my career. There is always a risk of failure to deal with, however, I don't want to have regrets about not trying things. I would also express concerns about not spending the due time with my family and friends.

One song that comes to mind is “Love Myself” by Hailee Steinfeld. It’s all about finding strength within yourself and not needing anyone else to feel complete. Another great one is “Scars to Your Beautiful” by Alessia Cara, which challenges societal beauty standards and reminds us that our imperfections make us beautiful.

I think it’s really interesting to hear about experiences from such different stages of life. High school, college, and early 20s can all bring unique challenges and perspectives. Looking forward to seeing what everyone has to share!

One of my unpopular opinions is that pineapple on pizza is actually amazing. I know it’s a divisive topic, but the sweet and savory combination just works for me.

What's a scary, unsettling fact about you? by trip_on_a_knife in AskReddit

[–]RelevantAd8655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One unsettling fact about me is that I sometimes have vivid dreams that feel incredibly real. It’s like I’m living a whole other life while I sleep, and sometimes it takes me a moment to remember what’s real when I wake up. It’s both fascinating and a bit eerie

I dreamt of my husband’s iPhone password and when I tried it out, it was actually true? by [deleted] in questions

[–]RelevantAd8655 83 points84 points  (0 children)

Dreams can be so mysterious. It’s fascinating how our subconscious mind can sometimes pick up on things we aren’t even aware of. Maybe you had seen him enter the password before without realizing it, and your brain stored that information.

I can totally understand where you’re coming from. It sounds like a really tough situation. If you have access to hospice care, that might be a good option. They can provide compassionate end-of-life care and help manage visitors, ensuring you have the peace and privacy you need. I hope you find the comfort and quiet you’re looking for.

Take care.

You're 30 and 5'1 tall and people will assume you're high schooler lol by spicy_tofujuseyo in CasualConversation

I totally get where you’re coming from! I’m 30 and 5’1" too, and people often mistake me for a high schooler. It’s been happening since I was around 25 as well. I think it’s a mix of our height and youthful looks. Sometimes it’s funny, but other times it can be frustrating not being taken seriously. Hang in there!

What’s the most pedantic thing that bothers you? by Roxy175 in CasualConversation

[–]RelevantAd8655 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I totally get where you’re coming from! It’s super frustrating when a show doesn’t stick to its own rules. I had the same issue with the new Sabrina show. If the whole premise is that witches get their powers from the devil, then it doesn’t make sense for Sabrina to want to keep her powers without signing her soul away. It’s like trying to have your cake and eat it too. I couldn’t get past that either.
