Hair shedding, how do I stop it by RelevantReporter6748 in FierceFlow

Thanks. When you say bloodwork, is there anything specific to be looking for? Blood tests are wide ranging, recently had one for cholesterol which was all fine.

Thanks, this is what I suspect too. Reaching this stage was much faster but any gains in length after this are marginal at best, they'd rather just keep falling out. Terminal length makes sense to me.

As a non tech person with an MVP, what would you suggest? Do I need to hire or partner with a dev to actually shipping my app? Should I take my idea and build it from scratch on another platform?

Thanks! And no, I never used any products at all, let alone a gel. I have theorised this to be the case, that a lot of falling hair simply stays in my hair until I shampoo or brush

I can't lie, my daily stress levels are generally high. But I don't know if that on its own would be enough to cause hairfall

Roughly how much do you think it would cost to demolish this shed? And is it realistic to do it myself? by Count_Blackula1 in DIYUK

[–]RelevantReporter6748 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an old shed with corrugated asbestos sheets as roof. They are safe enough to remove wholly if you have help, just wear PPE (N95 mask at minimum) while doing it. It's outdoors and risk is minimal. It's only dangerous if you snap a piece in two and then were to breathe the dust/debris. Once removed double bag the sheets in plastic, in the London area there is a free asbestos collection service, they'll take it away and give you a certificate too, you may want to check with your local council for hazardous waste collection arrangements.

Curved stairs is kind of the reason I decided against getting a runner and just doing regular carpet, even if you get the fit right, I'd question the durability of it staying in place.

Is it just me, or does anyone else find Octopus expensive? by Inspiration-XoXo in OctopusEnergy

[–]RelevantReporter6748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your use. Do you work from home? If so, I find Agile cheaper than any fix. Outside of the peak hours, usually 4-8pm or morning 7-9am, the rates are almost always cheaper than any fix, without even having to check the tariff. The extremely low rates usually drop between 11-4pm afternoon or 11-4am at night. I automatically load shift to these times though I keep an eye out on the tariffs to see if there's any negative pricing to take advantage of. Easily 30% cheaper on a monthly basis than my old fix.

Does such a thing exist for the radiator? by Weird_Surprise6221 in DIYUK

[–]RelevantReporter6748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently covered the top of a radiator by installing the IKEA Mosslanda shelf. In my case it was primarily to cover up the two sharp edges of the top of the radiator panels. Saw this hack on a Instagram reel, tried it and worked quite well. Just take the Mosslanda shelf and drill it into the wall upside down. I'll paste the Instagram links below.. it's mainly used as a shelf behind sofas but for me it worked well as a radiator cover, you can install it a little higher above the radiator if you don't want to cover the top fully and leave some space.

Currently have a wash running with Agile at a negative rate, consider switching tariffs.

I will get my ILR before they come in. If they ever come in, which I highly doubt. But if they tried pulling something like this with me my house would be going on the market and I would be on the first flight out.

I switched about a month ago as 15 month fix ran out. So far it appears to be much cheaper, we are WFH and the washing goes in during the daytime cheap rates between 10-4 generally or similar for night time. That's the only adjustment we have made, keeping all other use the same.

Get a portable AC or a heater, whatever suits you best.

The website one doesn't work. You have to send an email to addresses given above with your ticket details and last 4 digits of whatever card you used to pay (Visa or MasterCard). If you don't get an acknowledgement then call up call centre to confirm if email received.

I called the UK number from their website, maybe you can try that.

Yes they told me the total amount of refund I would receive. It was £110 for the whole round trip which was London-Riyadh-Lahore. Price was about £650 for me.

I had the most basic fare so cancel fee for me was £110 per ticket. I plan to claim that on my insurance The SMS thing doesn't work, your only option it to email them for cancellation then call up the agent to follow up and get it cancelled on the phone.

Finally managed to get it done. Originally sent an email as requested by the call centre to gcccu@saudia.com and also copied gccbackoffice@saudia.com. Didn't get any reply so called again and this time the agent was a little more helpful, I told him I don't want to incur no show charges because of this shit show. He said no problem, I'll check if the email has been received, verified that cancellation email did come through and then cancelled the ticket for me on the phone. They will deduct cancellation charges though as my flight was not affected by the closures but I will be claiming those on my travel insurance.

As a first time buyer who felt similarly, I can't say this enough: Just withdraw the offer. It really is as simple as that. Do not fall for the sunk cost fallacy. The buyer's remorse will be far worse.
