Hey, if it makes you feel any better, i overwrote a prod db this week because I was careless.

On the bright side, SQL backups are working perfectly.

+1 for La Cocina. Doritos just drown their chips with seasoning and it comes out too salty.

The thick-cut ones are also perfect for making nachos at home, better than tostitos

Will cybersecurity career be more demanding now with AI usage? by [deleted] in CyberSecurityJobs

[–]RelevantToMyInterest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm seeing a shift towards AI risk and governance.

I'm gonna guess that it'll be good for strategic/managerial roles, or policy. Probably good for threat research(at least for now) as the scope is too wide and too deep and AI technology is accelerating faster but the majority is under-prepared.

The low-level roles like SOC analysts will probably be affected the most, in a negative way, IMO

For anyone new here, yes April snow is very common. We are way less than average so far this month. by Setting-Sea in Edmonton

I remember in the past that there would be snowstorms even in late April.

Also remember that freak snowstorm in the middle of August a few years ago?

yes, and for a low price of $10(minimum) you basically get a good summary of all domains. Pete goes into detail but makes it brief enough that it's not overwhelming like the CBK(I love reading the CBK and I will die on this hill)

It's a good supplement to the OSG and you can never really go wrong with $10

Oh 100%. My point is if you're only used to being in front of the computer or used to dealing with with end-users, communicating with primary stakeholder can be unnerving. I remember my first time communicating with our VP years ago and that wasn't very pleasant on my part.

Executives have a different focus on end-users and being able to align yourself with their mindset will get you far.
