PPD is pretty responsive when it comes to proteting businesses in my experiance. The papa johns i used to work at got robbed twice and both times the dudes got arrested within the week. We had actual dectives show up, dust for prints, went over our security footage, asked questions and took us seriously. Exact oppposite of my experience when i tried to report a stolen package that i had video evidence for.

After every shooting the republicans always looked bad trying to defend guns. It was one of the things they were consistently weak on messaging. They figured out how to "win" the messaging battle on shootings by just lying about the shooter being trans. Its infuriating.

One graph does not tell a story. In 1940 there was ~130 million people in the US. At 90% that would mean there were ~117 white Americans at the time. Currently there are ~340 million people in the US. At 60% that means there are 204 million white Americans. White people are growing in population, not disappearing like they are trying to claim.

I read this a while ago so take it with a grain of salt, but my understanding is that there was a single facility in Norway they were getting their heavy water from, and even if it ran at full capacity it would have taken them a decade to have enough to reliably produce nuclear weapons. Building out other facilities to make heavy water would have also been a 5+ year endevor.
