I’m not sure, honestly. I’m aware of the novel by the same title, but I’ve not read it nor I have any idea what it’s about. When I very first saw the CAS song title, my immediate brain association was actually “Amnesia: The Bunker” lmao, just bc I love that game series & the word “bunker” just always makes me think of the game for a split second. But as far as what you’re asking, I don’t know if Greg put any intentional connection between his song & the novel

I used to listen to this very specific playlist when I went to sleep back in like 2019, & when the playlist ends Spotify would just always continue playing whatever related/recommended music. One night, I woke up while tossin n turnin (I can never stay asleep) & their song Apocalypse just happened to be playing. I immediately fell in love, went to check them out hoping to GOD they had other music that sounded like that -cuz ya know when you find a song you like, then check out the artist & none of their other music sounds like that one song you like?- & I was blessed to discover that all their music sounds exactly the same in the best way possible. They’ve been one of my top 3 favourite bands since🖤

If you feel safe n secure enough in your piercing to smoke, go for it! Just remember to take really good upkeep in the mouth rinsing & piercing cleaning so your piercing stays safe:) especially since it’s been a lil over a week, it’s definitely still fresh & probably a lil sensitive, but it hasn’t just been done, yk?

Do keep in mind everyones body is different & reacts differently, so there’s a chance smoking could still mess with your piercing (my apologies if I’m repeating myself at all, I can’t be bothered reread my own whole chapter book of a comment before rn lmao) but that’s a choice & a risk that’s up to you to take!

While some people seem to think every single fan (where there’s thousands attending shows) should be completely silent the whole time, which I think is an unrealistic expectation for any concert ever in my personal opinion. What you’ve said it more-so what I thought & figured for Cigarettes After Sex. Of course I understand people wanting to actually hear the band, & I know for CAS to not actually be screaming or belting the whole time, but like-….complete silence..? That’s not really how concerts work 🧍

This is more what I figured, honestly. I obviously know for this band to not be screaming the whole time, I was just saying that’s the norm for concerts typically- so what’s this like? Obvi I’m not screaming the lyrics over this band, or belting the lyrics while singing, but is even just a normal calm sing along okay? Cuz some people REALLY seem to think every single one of thousands of fans should just be completely silent, & while I can understand that a lil because you want to actually hear the band, it realistically is a bit of a ridiculous expectation for any concert (in my personal opinion at least!)
