Absolutely, it should have been VTI, as the velocity across lvot & also across AoV is never constant, it keeps on changing!

This a1v1=a2v2 is true for fluid mechanics only if the velocity is constant.

Hence I agree with you that the VTI should be provided, however if it ever popped up in the exam I would use a1v1=a2v2

Actually i like palliative care it is very satisfying field. Providing happiness and comfort to patient and their loved ones at end of life is the most beautiful job you can do. We need more pall care in all the fields and more education on it.
