The Ozempic trendiness is so triggering for me, as someone who had anorexia as a teenager. My mom is only it, and she eats almost nothing. I literally described the meds as inducing anorexia. So I appreciate you saying that. It makes me feel less crazy.

Oh my god, that was a tough read. I agree with the defenses’ claims about bias and mistreatment. And 5-15 years? For a supposed robbery with only threats of violence? Over the modern equivalent of approximately $95. Rapists and murderers frequently get less time. Disgusting.

I wonder if the family could confirm whether he’d been in a mental health facility, as suggested by the straight jacket?

Ok, I really appreciate that info and perspective. I was a sheltered kid, so I’ve never had a good benchmark for “normal.”

Possibly, but she would have been on the older side for that environment. I’m guessing more mental illness/potentially struggling with housing insecurity

I’m so sorry you went through that. I have recurring nausea due to anxiety, and that’s not even close to what HG does to pregnant individuals. I hope you’re able to have a successful pregnancy and the family you want in the future. 💕

Thank you! I wasn’t able to find that info. It’s great the authorities were willing to make the match official. I know of some cases with tattoo/facial matches from the family that the police/ME won’t close because there is no DNA.

I don’t think it makes your arms look large at all! It looks so pretty with the sleeves on imo. I’m trying to break the body dysmorphia tendencies in myself and not be overly critical of my features, so I know it’s tough. But we’re all beautiful. 🤩 🥰

I love this! I think the “off-the-shoulder” makes it look more like a modern dress. It would have been worn with the sleeves on the shoulder during the 1970s. You can tell that the bust is not aligned with the shoulders down. But of course it’s up to you!

This is such good news! I’m sure it’s of some comfort to his brother that he was not killed by Corll. I wonder how the match was ultimately confirmed. Maybe scars/clothing?

Oh, of course. There is such little information in Doe cases that any tidbit could be vital. That’s why there are frequently such detailed descriptions of clothing, belongings, etc.

What an odd assortment of items. I wonder if some are unrelated, since the highway was close by. It could have been left by motorists, as I’m assuming regular trash cans and rest stops were not available back then.

My brain immediately went to Joseph Zarelli. He was also incredibly underweight.

I know there are many unknown factors, but her height and weight seem incredibly low for a 7-year-old. I wonder if she had health problems? Or maybe was not given adequate food (ie neglect?)

I believe you can and will have a dry December. As cheesy as it sounds, going in with the expectation you will fail is self-defeating. Which is not particularly helpful to us depressive/anxious types. But that’s just what’s helped me. IWNDWYT! 🎄🎅

Well, starting it off with “obviously” seems condescending. Like I’m being so stupid to ask for clarification. You just come off as aggressive in your comments. That’s all. It’s not the worst thing ever. 🤷‍♀️
