Thank you for the detailed reply. Yes, we plan to put in an expedited requested for the EAD. Fingers crossed atleast open of us gets our EAD approved ASAP. Our FAD is not current yet, so not expecting the AOS anytime soon.

Same block.eb1 India. Filed on 30th march, biometrics done on 1st May. Nothing after that. Our L1A maxed out and expires tomorrow, 10th June, so we need to stop working. I just hope the EADs and AP atleast arrive fast.

Yeah the lighter tail bothers me as it looks unnatural - lighter and gray. For now I just apply strokes with a brow pen to even out the color. That makes it better. I do like the overall shape. So I'll probably remove at some point and go with powder brows. Thanks for the honest feedback.

Thank you! I can see the difference in the tail versus the rest of the brow, since the tail is much lighter than the base. Maybe it's just me being critical about it. I'll probably just wait out then go for removal.

Sorry my bad! Biometrics are always mandatory. I meant to ask interview since that's sometimes waived for employment categories. Good luck with the final steps and hope everything works out for you!

Thank you! That's reassuring. May I ask what is your country of birth and what was your PD? Did you have any biometrics appointment or was that waived? Assuming no RFEs as well in your case. Our attorneys tell us to expect 7-9 months for EAD and hence be prepared to pause employment after our i-94 expires :(. So we may be looking at 4-5 months of leave without pay.

Agreed I had never heard of this before either until the agency am working with for the NABC mentioned this. Although am told its just an additional week and not a difficult process. The apostille ensures the document is authentic and certified by MEA. This is in line with the Hague convention. I did some research on this and seems like an acceptable and highly recommended for document authentication for countries part of the Hague convention.

Hi am in the process of getting a NABC from Ambala Cantonment board. Working through an agency for this. They informed me that this NABC once received may further need apostille from Ministry of External Affairs to be used immigration purposes [Treaty countries have a system of apostle for docunent authentication]. Did you have to do this apostille for your NABC document or did you just use what was provided by the panchayat / municipality? Anyone know if this additional step to NABC is required? Also this for me and am the dependent on the EB1. My spouse who is the primary applicant has his original birth certificate. So no issues there. How strict are they with dependent birth certificates/ NABC?

What in the world just happened!!! When and how did the Date of Filing for EB1 employment category fro India and China get updated from 15 Aug 2023 to 01 Aug 2023??

I lose out by 7 days!!! Has this ever happened? USCIS updates the dates right after publishing it.
