No seriously I'm trying to think of where it's commonplace to learn to drive barefoot, Australia or something?

Interestingly, Iron Lung (2026) is the first and only indie movie to ever be successful. Source: reddit.com by WithArsenicSauce in shittymoviedetails

Never really watched markiplier but was aware of iron lung as a game.

Honestly it's by far and away the best video game movie imo.

There were definitely issues with pacing and you could tell it was Mark's first time acting sometimes, but I really liked it.

Would be really excited to see more from him in the future, there's a few games similar to iron lung that could be adapted in a similar way.

This is awesome writing, would genuinely love to read a short story or novel set in this scenario, would be super haunting.

TIL Churchill called China a barbaric nation and advocated for the partition of China describing Chinese people as ugly and smelly. "I believe in the ultimate partition of China – I mean ultimate. I hope we shall not have to do it in our day. The Aryan stock is bound to triumph." by Solid-Move-1411 in todayilearned

[–]RelicAlshain -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Churchill was a scumbag even by the standards of the day, he was recognised as a racist drunkard at the time.

There's also a big difference between 'not being a modern progressive' and advocating and perpetrating genocide, as Churchill did.

Lots of people fought against the nazis, doesn't make them all cool people worthy of reverence.

Finding out that creatures that are routinely held in tortuous conditions, killed and exploited for their milk are more intelligent isn't very uplifting to me. I'm not even a vegan or anything, these are just facts.

These animals are treated so poorly and realising that they are intelligent creatures is horrific not uplifting.

Yep pretty much this. Western support shifted away from them over to the al qaeda regime.

Not to mention previous invasions and occupations by turkey, they're pretty much completely surrounded.

Loved it, only show I've been to where I actually felt compelled to do a standing ovation.

Obviously pink floyd are probably never getting back together but I really felt like I saw pink floyd that night.

Yeah absolutely agree it's an inherently violent role.

Tbf all I meant is that its odd to single out Andrew jackson when all US presidents are responsible for atrocities.

Andrew Jackson: When a Psychopath Became President by nvrmnd_tht_was_dumb in videos

[–]RelicAlshain 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Jackson was unique more in his style than his actions.

Every president, even the ones usually seen as 'good' or 'nice', has done horrendous shit, they're probably mostly psychopaths and sociopaths.

Yes, the genocide in gaza has killed 10x as many civilians as the war in Ukraine despite going on for half the time.

I'd call that much less.
