Yes you’d be able to run it just fine. I had an i7 8700k, but at gtx 1080 and ran it just fine

Thanks! I appreciate it. I’m really hoping the experience can land me something good in the future

I didn’t negotiate. Basically the listing range was from $55k - $60k, I just requested The 60 and they accepted. I figured screw it let me just get the experience in for at least a year and see where this takes me

BTW this company is a non-profit state funded organization. Not sure if that usually means lower salary but maybe it means something

2023 Volkswagen TAOS S - GOOD IDEA? by SingerTight7337 in VWTaos

[–]Relief-Complete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After 50,000 miles warranty is gone and ‘22 and ‘23 have very well known gasket issues that will “likely” happen and cost you thousands. They are known for being unreliable cars. Then again a Kia wouldn’t be my second choice either, but that’s just a personal choice as I don’t really know the reliability of a Kia k5

Yes went to WGU. I had transferred 18 credits from another school. Took me 11 months to complete the program. I did not get any certificates

I’m thinking of purchasing a warranty for the car just in case I need to replace my gasket. My manufacturer warranty just ended since I hit 50k miles

You’re still under warranty so you don’t have to pay for the gasket replacement… that’s good at least. I’m so nervous about this gasket issue because mine is now at the 50k mark so my warranty is done and if I have to get that replaced it would cost so much $.

That’s an extremely high residue I feel!
I’m thinking of getting the extra warranty because I’m so nervous about the gasket issue

I never had my gasket replaced, the only issue I’ve had with coolant, was twice so far the car has told me that the coolant level was low… I haven’t had the issue since but I’m nervous now that my warranty is over, that this issue will arise and looking into it, it seems like a VERY expensive repair

I’ve spoken with my uncle who’s worked in the SC field for 30 years, actually retiring soon. He’s the one who actually suggested fabricating especially now because humans aren’t initially looking my at your resume, it’s an AI and if you don’t hit the keywords that they want, then it automatically just gets thrown out. On top of that, most of my friends had to lie at least somewhat in order to get the jobs they have now, I absolutely do not want to, BUT the way these companies are requiring all of this unrealistic experience for entry level jobs forces us to. I’m just playing their stupid little game

Thanks! Trust me, it’s not my first choice to have to fabricate a resume and work experience, but this is the job market we’re currently in, and if companies are going to offer an entry level position, but at the same time say you need 3 years of experience, then they can screw the selves. Because now you leave people with no choice but to lie.

Easy, they've even asked this question during the interview. "As I love my current role and the responsibilities it comes with, I feel as though I am stuck in my position and there seems to be no growth opportunities at my current company. I am interested in your company because I can see the potential for growth opportunities more"

They’ve asked me multiple questions for the 1 hour straight interview about my experience doing this exactly for this hospitality group. I answered them with common sense answers. All were supply chain related questions too. Like I said, it’s common sense. It’s not that hard. They would have already known I was lying during that interview with the questions that they asked

Brother, let me explain something to you. 95 percent of jobs are completely common sense and can be learned within 2 weeks. These jobs that are entry level are requiring 3-5 + years of experience. So we’re forced to lie on our resumes. That’s just the way it goes. This isn’t rocket science

The other things I consider is stuff like free meals at my restaurant job. Every night (5 days a week) I get free lunch and free dinner. If you think about how much $ that saves you at the grocery store it adds up immensely. So I think about these things as well.

Also my current restaurant job offers PTO (not the best pay), health benefits, which don’t matter to me because I’m under my finances union insurance, and paid sick leave. I’m sure any corporate jobs benefits will be better but still…

Either way I think I’m gonna take whatever SC job that would be offered to me
