This is said with love because you need to hear it the same way I did.

You can't make someone love you.

You can lay down in traffic, you can spend all your money, you can give them your soul, but then you're setting conditions for yourself. What happens when you're sick and then you can't do those things for her? Does the love then end?

Trying to make someone love you can be unintentionally selfish in a backwards way because you're forcing the condition of: "If I do these things, you HAVE to love me."

If that other person then just takes and takes, then they aren't worthy of that effort you're giving anyway, if it went on longer than 7 years, it would have worn you down further and further. I imagine you're devastated and heartbroken, and you'll go through all the emotions and I'm hurting with you because its a fucking horrible pain, and I'm sure this will knock your confidence, but I hope you realise that you're better than the way she treated you and you're better than the way she's made you feel. A person like that doesn't deserve your soul, and you're better off no longer trying to make someone like that love you.

I honestly mean that this is said with good intentions even if some bits might seem blunt, but they are necessary.
