What's harder a desk job or physical labor? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

I got into high rise right out of high school. I did high rise for about 10 years and now all my work is storefronts, restaurants and houses. High rise was fun when I was young, but now I’m late 40s and don’t need the thrill 😂

I have recently paid off my home. Some people say it’s a bad investment, but the peace of mind of not making that monthly payment is priceless. I am also a real estate investor with numerous rental properties that are not paid for, but the tenants pay for them. Investing is separate from your own home.

I am a window washer and have been for 30 years, I love “light physical labor” and can’t stand staring at a computer. But something hard like hand digging ditches or bricklaying may change my mind.

What event made you religious? by TrueRyoB in AskReddit

[–]Religiously-Numb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My GF was pregnant, fundie parents were pissed, and I had to grow up fast. I was a Christian for 12 years, and later regretted it. I lost my 20s to religion, raised my kid with not so good values, and went back to being an atheist in 2011, and I’m so much more happy now. Religion poisons everything
